Dear Brothers and Sisters,
On August 12, 2021, the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released a message regarding the ongoing efforts around COVID-19 and its variants (please read the attachment).
After counseling with the Bishops and Stake High Council, the following steps are being taken within our Stake boundaries:
- Masks are now highly encouraged while in Meetinghouses within our Stake for both hours on Sunday. We ask all members to respect and love each other regarding their decision to wear or not wear a mask.
- Aaronic Priesthood holders who prepare and pass the Sacrament are required to wear masks
- The ability to view Sacrament meetings via broadcast and conduct the Sacrament ordinance at home with Bishop’s authorization is now available.
We appreciate the faith and understanding of every member of the Stake to ensure the health and wellbeing of our fellow Brothers and Sisters. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your Bishop, Organization, or Quorum President.
